Daily progress 3/5/09

Today we turned in our first drafts in Sketchup. we talked about MC Escher and his 3D Art then we watched a video about one of his famous paintings it was weird it was like all stairs and poeple and it was virtually impossible to actually happen. Then we looked at the power of critique through a 4th grader, and saw his progress when refining a butterfly that was being critiqued. Then we critiqued some othersketches.

i liked today it was fun. we got to use this program called google sketchup its like a 3D construction program and i am going to be working on this because i am the lead sketch deisgner and i will build the trebuchet on here. i hope i can actually build it because it seems a little complicated =[.

Daily progress 3/3/09

Today kelsey was absent so we didn’t make any plans for the design, but we assigned some jobs to each other and sicne kelsey wasnt here we assigned her to be the simulation person. I will be Lead Designer & Crest Designer, Emilio will be videographer person, and Rolando will be construction supervisor. i like my job because i like designing stuff so yeah.

Dily Progress 3/2/09

Today we were assigned a new project in my Math and Physics Class. For the new project we had to pick our teams and wer had to choose to build either a Trebuchet or a Catapult. My team, Kelsey, Rolando, Emilio and me picked to buld a Trebuchet because we thougth it would be funner.
